For children aged 5 to 8, we have a pre-competitive program to introduce them to the four Olympic swimming styles (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly) and the basics of competition. Children should be comfortable in the water but can use a flotation device.
Depending on progress, some children may be able to join the competitive program during the season (at no extra cost).
It is strongly recommended that each swimmer participate in a competition during the summer, just for fun.
To participate in swimming competitions, those aged 8 and under must swim 25 meters unassisted. From the age of 9, they must swim 50 meters without touching the bottom. Each swimmer must participate in at least two competitions during the summer.
Training schedules vary depending on the swimmers’ levels. We offer several time slots from Monday to Friday, both in the morning and in the evening. Each swimmer’s level will be determined during the preseason week.
To register for artistic swimming, swimmers must be able to swim 50 meters without touching the bottom. Participants must attend practices daily and compete in competitions at the end of the summer.
By registering for artistic swimming, each swimmer is automatically registered with the aquatic club. They can therefore participate in club training sessions and competitions, if desired.
The competitions will take place in August:
